New Build in Abbots Bromley/ Staffordshire

The brief

This contemporary new build is located in the historic village of Abbots Bromley, Staffordshire.

The challenge

Planning constraints required Staffordshire Blue clay plain tiles on this project, so a modern house had to sit comfortably among the village's older buildings.

Our approach

We laid the roof in clay plain tiles using the traditional double-lap method, which gives excellent weather protection.

Materials

Staffordshire Blue clay plain tiles. Their timeless yet elegant look keeps the house in keeping with its surroundings, and their life expectancy exceeds 100 years.

The result

An excellent choice that combines good looks with durability, on a new home that fits perfectly into its historic setting.
